  3. PDAddress  is  a mailing list program for home  or  business  use.    
  4. It is a small sample of the quality products provided by  PDA.  It

  16. PDAddress is available for the Atari ST and IBM PC.  If you cannot 
  17. get a copy from a friend, a BBS, GENIE, or CompuServe, you may get 
  18. a free copy from us by sending blank,  pre-formatted disks with  a 
  19. stamped, self-addressed mailer.

  21. For  the  Atari ST,  send one double-sided   or  two  single-sided 
  22. diskette(s).

  24. For  the  IBM,  send  either  two  5.25  360K  or  one  720K  3.5" 
  25. diskette(s). Do not send 1.4Mb 5.25" or 1.44Mb 3.5" diskettes!

  27. You may also send $7 for single-sided ST or $5 for all other,  and 
  28. we will provide the diskette(s), mailer, and postage. GA residents

  31. A word about Personal Database Applications:
  32. --------------------------------------------

  34. There are many good data management applications for the home  and 
  35. personal  computer  market that are useful to most,  if  not  all, 
  36. owners.  These  include mailing  list,  diskette  cataloging,  and 
  37. checkbook   programs.   There  are  also   specialized    database 
  38. applications for the professional,  but these are very  expensive. 
  39. The hobbyist who has data storage needs must make do with  generic 
  40. utilities such as spreadsheets or learn to program so that he  may  
  41. make his own application.

  43. PDA is a group of four people who are starting a software  company 
  44. to  provide  quality  specialized  database  applications  to  the 
  45. hobbyist, small businessman,  and self-employed professional at an 
  46. affordable price.   We have had considerable experience designing, 
  47. documenting,   writing,   and  implementing  commercial   database 
  48. applications on mainframes using fourth-generation languages,  and 
  49. are putting these skills to work for the small systems user.

  51. Our programs are easy to use and well-documented.  On-line help is 
  52. available  at any time with the press of a key.  The same  screens 
  53. are used for entering,  finding, changing, and deleting data.

  55. All  PDA applications use the same  flexible,  menu-driven  custom 
  56. report writer and mail merge.
  57.  
  58. PDA  applications  will be available for the IBM PC or  Atari  ST. 
  59. Atari ST versions take advantage of GEM.

  61. Our  first  product  for the business market  is  a  charting  and 
  62. medical  records system for Physical Therapists.  This  system  is 
  63. currently being beta tested.

  65. Under  development is an accounting/inventory system for  hospital 
  66. gift shops, and a hospital volunteer administration system.
  67.  
  68. Nearing release for the consumer market are cataloging systems for 
  69. records and music tapes,  and  for videocassettes.  These programs 
  70. will be available in free limited-record-capacity demo versions so 
  71. you can try before you buy.

  73. Ham  radio  and short-wave listener's logging programs  are  under 
  74. development.
